Situace kolem Scarborough.

Scarborough Fair“ (Child 2Roud 12) is a traditional Englishballad.[1] The song, which is a variant of The Elfin Knight, lists a number of impossible tasks given to a former lover who lives in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. The „Scarborough/Whittingham Fair“ variant was most common in Yorkshire and Northumbria, where it was sung to various melodies, often using Dorian mode, with refrains resembling „parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme“ and „Then she’ll be a true love of mine.“[2] It appears in Traditional Tunes by Frank Kidson published in 1891, who claims to have collected it from Whitby.[3] Zdroj , Wikipedia.

Whitby…… nečekaně .Něco mne donutilo udělat tohle a jsi to Ty, pořád.

A Whitby je….Whitby. Hudba v pozadí ,My dying bride, rytmus.

Take the Linton falls water so white
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme
From cold it’s bed then up to the sky
And then she’ll be a true love of mine

Ask for angels a chariot to make
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme
White swan feathers black and the wings of the night
She will breathe the true love of mine

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
For once she was a true love of mine
