darkness seems to rule our lives,
in the valleys it still dawns

we are fortified in fortresses,
harsh refuges of our own souls

it is dawning in the valleys

we are waiting in the cellars,
when the walls open,
we are waiting for treasures and secrets,
yet,
still
we are waiting

it is dawning in the valleys

but someone forgot us underground,
the hooves of the horses of the kings roar over us,

and when we wait
 the best the best is to do something

it is dawning in the valleys

let's meet the dawn,
let's not leave anything in the dark,

the earth opens,
the walls fall,
the darkness disappears as if it never was

because it is dawning in the valleys

and we hope,

because

      we have each other.
